Kashf (Spiritual Visions and Revelations)

Kashf is a term in Tasawwuf that refers to the experience of direct, unmediated understanding or knowledge of Allah The Almighty, the self, and the world, and can lead to spiritual transformation and enlightenment. It is considered to be a spiritual state that is achieved through intense devotion and spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation, and contemplation.

It is said by numerous Spiritual Mentors that Kashf is not an accomplishment of excellence and not all spiritual seekers may attain it. ِIn fact, it is possible that a traveller reaches the highest levels of Spirituality without experiencing Kashf. Additionally, Kashf may disappear as the individual progresses through certain spiritual stages.

کشف تصوف کی ایک اصطلاح ہے جس سے مراد اللہ تعالیٰ، نفس اور دنیا کی معرفت کا تجربہ ہے، اور یہ روحانی تبدیلی اور روشن خیالی کا باعث بنتا ہے۔ یہ ایک روحانی کیفیت ہے جو شدید عقیدت اور روحانی مشقوں جیسے دعا، مراقبہ اور غور و فکر کے ذریعے حاصل ہوتی ہے۔
 
متعدد روحانی مشائخ علیھم الرحمۃ کا کہنا ہے کہ کشف کو کمال نہیں سمجھنا چاہئیے اور یہ بھی ضروری نہیں کہ تمام سالک اسے حاصل کرسکیں۔ مزید برآں، کشف اکثر ختم ہو جاتا ہے جب سالک مخصوص روحانی مراحل سے گزر جاتا ہے۔
